Plastic Fantastic
As we eclipse peak oil and push further into the 21st century, industrialized societies will see a marked change in their relationship with plastic. Petrochemical polymers will no longer be suitable for disposable products and their reclamation systems will greatly expand as the cost of virgin material increases and our natural environment degrades. This thesis is an exploration into the near future when the plastic products around us take on new significance and value.
