Young children are naturally curious, playful and lighthearted. They are open-minded and impressionable; hands-on and involved. Kids candidly express themselves without reservation and readily forgive and forget. Effortlessly engaging each of their senses, they are eager to explore, unearth and investigate their surroundings. It is my goal to generate for seasoned adults opportunities that reactivate and provoke this lost sense of wonder and amazement toward the every day and recapture the charm that childhood holds.
A southern belle from Texas, Rowen grew up on her parent's farm where she spent her days exploring nature and riding horses. After receiving an architecture degree from Texas A&M, she dabbled in boutique hospitality design at a firm in Dallas. Increasingly unsatisfied, Rowen packed a few of her belongings and headed to Brooklyn in search of a more personal and tangible endeavor. She has found fulfillment in creating with her hands, relishing the nights spent in studio covered in saw dust and plaster spatters. She looks forward to heading back to the country.
