Organic Form and Universal Design in Tableware
The use and handling of tableware presents challenges for any person. The challenges are unique for each individual depending on variables such as age, size, strength, and also injuries or disabilities. The design of products can address loss of function caused by disability and it can also ease the use of products for the general population. This thesis will examine the use of organic forms to improve ergonomics in tableware.
